William Walker collection, 1906-1987.

A small but important group of documents detailing the life of William Walker, an early 20th century western figure. Materials found in the collection document his movement west through the Panama Canal, his adventures in southern Arizona, and his life in Flagstaff. The collection also contains material about the 1916 Mexican Border Campaign of which he was a participant. In addition it also contains some material about Walker's involvement with the author Harold Bell Wright.
